Atomic Café: The Noisiest Corner in J-Town won an Honorable Mention in the Documentary Shorts Competition at the 2021 RiverRun International Film Festival!

Thanks to the Documentary Shorts jury who stated, “It is a story that has not been told and made incredible use of archival footage. The filmmakers were able to create a vibrancy within the film and use the history to relate to what is happening today in Los Angeles and the U.S. It was an evocative piece of storytelling that we will remember this story for a long time after seeing the film.” Thanks also to Atomic Nancy and  Zen Sekizawa for allowing us to tell a small part of your family’s story.
